Province of Saskatchewan
Saskatchewan is a province full of natural resources. Below the surface is a major supply of potash, uranium, oil, diamonds and gold. Above-ground, the gold comes from maturing wheat fields next to crops such as canola, flax, peas, oats and many others.
The province’s diverse landscape includes desert dunes, flat pastureland, rolling hills, forests and lakes.
The people of our province work hard and play hard. They are known across the country for both their ability to raise millions of dollars for charities, and for their flat-out abandon when they are cheering for the province’s football team.
Our small towns are friendly and fun, with nearly every town featuring a golf course and a curling/skating rink. And, our cities are sophisticated and modern.
